About ATS Resume Checker

ATS Resume Checker helps job seekers get their resumes past Applicant Tracking System software and in front of human recruiters. Most employers screen applications with an ATS before a person ever reads them, and a resume that parses poorly or misses the right keywords ranks too low to be seen. Our checker shows you those problems before you apply, while you can still fix them.

How the checker works

The free instant check runs right in your browser. It scans your resume the way ATS software does: it extracts the text, maps your sections, and tests the fundamentals that decide whether a resume parses cleanly, from file format and headings to dates and contact details. You get your ATS score in seconds, with no signup.

The full report goes deeper with 30+ checks, including keyword matching against the job description you are applying for. You can also use our free resume keyword scanner to compare your resume against any job posting, or start from ATS-friendly templates in our ATS resume builder.

What we believe

Career tools should be honest. We only score what we can actually measure, we tell you when a metric needs your job description to be meaningful, and we do not promise interviews no tool can guarantee. The checker itself is free to use. Premium plans exist for people who want more, like the AI-assisted resume builder, unlimited resumes and cover letters, and the job tracker, and our pricing is published openly.

We treat your data the same way. The free instant check runs in your browser, and your resume is only sent to our servers if you choose to continue to your full report. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

Who we are

ATS Resume Checker is built by a small team led by our founder, Rohith. We build career tools full time, and this checker exists because the advice job seekers get about ATS screening is full of myths. We would rather show you what the software actually sees.
